In TCMSv2, 'Set terminal date and time' option is a timekeeping function to synchronize all network connected FingerTec terminal devices with TCMSv2 PC. The result of this process is to set   the clock of FingerTec terminal devices to follow the PC time. However, the time synchronization requires an accurate time from the source PC. The website hosted by Singapore National Metrology Centre provides time synchronization service to disseminate accurate Singapore Standard Time via Internet. The website offers free Network Time Service (NETS) client software download. This client software that runs on the TCMSv2 PC will provide periodic update to itself, and in turn an accurate time is updated onto every FingerTec terminal device.
