Mini UPS (Compact Battery)
FingerTec® Mini UPS, a portable backup battery pack, is a cost-effective solution to ensure the continuity operation of your FingerTec system in the event of power failure. It makes the FingerTec Time recorder more portable, reliable and robust for attendance taking in any environment, where power supply is either not available or not stable. FingerTec® Mini-UPS is light in weight (150gm) and supplies battery power to FingerTec equipment for 3-5 hours before recharging.

Mini Uninterrupted Power Supply acts as backup battery during power interruption. Under normal circumstances, the mini-UPS is in idle state. The fingerprint reader is supplied with direct current from the adapter. The Mini- UPS will be charged automatically once the power content is depleting. It will discharge and supply power to the fingerprint reader in the events of power interruption.

Connecting FingerTec® Time Clock to FingerTec® MiniUPS

MiniUPS is designed to be DIY (do-it-yourself) friendly. Simply connect your 5V AC Power round plug to FingerTec® MiniUPS and connect the FingerTec® MiniUPS round plug to FingerTec Time Clock. The battery is constantly charged while connecting to AC power source. DC Current supply is directly provided by FingerTec® MiniUPS to Time Clock so that power interruption is not affecting Time Clock operation.
